From the artist
Through the limitation of a small phone screen, the potential of drawing female forms is very minimal. Therefore most of my artworks resemble paper cut-outs. This Blue Lady is one of the first phone drawn ladies I’ve created.
Artist
Having studied design in Zurich, Berlin-based artist Tanja Schaub now dedicates herself to creating works of art that can be distinguished by their complexity of technique and their ambiguity of meaning. Working with both digital and analogue media, she aptly combines shapes drawn on her phone with motifs sketched out on paper. The result? Colourful abstract designs in which bold colour blocks juxtapose with soft, fluid movements of the hand. Through such contrasts, Tanja Schaub subtly pays homage to the beauty and complexity of Mother Nature.

paper
Our paper is a 300 GSM weight, 100% Cotton Rag composite with a delicate texture and bright white matte finish. It's certified archival by an accredited third party for 100+ years display life and is acid, lignin, and OBA free.
printing
Our prints are made using a high quality Giclée technique. This process allows us to capture the essence of the photograph in the highest fidelity. That said, some photographs were taken on film and therefore may show grain. It makes the photo unique and it is part of why we love it. We thought it best to let you know. Feel free to reach out to us if you have any questions.
framing
Our frames are a high-quality gesso-coated stock (or natural wood) with a shatterproof anti-glare acrylic. Depending on size, either a wire or sawtooth mount is employed for a seamless hanging experience.
