1. Where’d it all start?

My small adventure with photography started after visiting Faroe Islands for the first time. I saw loads of dramatic landscapes and I felt like I really wanted to have these views framed on my walls  at home. Unfortunately the only photo gear I had at that time was an iPhone so for my next trip to Faroes I got a proper camera and from that moment I took it everywhere with me. 

2. Favorite photo you’ve taken and why?

My favourite photos were taken on the Amalfi coast, mostly in Positano. No other place has this vibrant mixture of stunning landscapes and picturesque, historic buildings. Adding public beaches equipped with colorful sunbeds and umbrellas it's a real photography heaven.

3. Where do you want to shoot next?

 My next destination is Iceland which was on my list for a long time. I'm really curious how all  these landscapes I've seen in so many photos are going to look like in winter reality. It's definitely not gonna be the most picturesque photography you can get in Italy, but I'm also a huge enthusiast of these northern, raw landscapes with loads of clouds and rain. 

4. Craziest moment you’ve had while shooting or traveling for a shoot?

Probably all moments when I was shooting while being suspended on the wire on via ferratas.  There is always a slight chance of dropping a camera while taking it out from the backpack but  who can resist all these views you get at high altitude?! :D 

5. Favorite photographer / artistic inspiration?

I really admire works of Slim Aarons and Stuart Cantor who shoots a lot of Italian Coast. They look spontaneous and fresh. My big inspiration are also Alexandre Calame's paintings which  present Swiss landscapes in that romantic manner from the XIX century.

6. Favorite book, TV show, or movie from the past year?

I'm a huge fan of The Crown tv series so season 3 was definitely my favourite this year. I love costumes and interiors as well as landscapes when they shoot at royal castles.  

As for books, I got into Kazuo Ishiguro this year after reading Klara and the sun. The hermetic  reality he creates in his novels is something truly amazing.

7. Last meal on earth? (food, setting, people, etc.)

Definitely some kind of poke bowl with fresh (and naturally catched) tuna, on the nice beach by the ocean, with my husband and my dog :D
